The NSW Championships brings together navigators, endurance athletes, and adventure seekers for a weekend of strategy, exploration, and competition in the stunning wilderness of Mt Werong. Whether you’re aiming for a championship title, a personal challenge, or simply an unforgettable experience in the great outdoors, this event has something for everyone.
The area in the western Blue Mountains and Southern Tablelands is considered to be some of the best rogaining country in the world – light bushland, few tracks, clear topographical features without being too steep and rugged, and the Mt Werong area is the epitome of that. The course setters also report an array of fungi and fresh banksia to admire, plus a range of navigational challenges, including a few twists!
With 8-hour and 24-hour course options, your team will be charting your own path across rugged terrain, seeking out checkpoints, testing your navigation skills, and making strategic decisions under pressure. Whether you’re a seasoned rogainer or a newcomer looking for an exhilarating test of endurance, this is the event that defines rogaining in 2025.
